NICHOLASO good holy Nicholas, you who brought joy to children, put in my heart the spirit of childhood about which the Gospel speaks. Teach me how to sow happiness around me. Amen. On December 6th Catholic families the world over celebrate in honor of Saint Nick for all his wonderful blessings. To honor this patron saint of children, our Holy Rosary Family traditionally comes together to celebrate St. Nicholas’ feast day as well. ABOUT OUR EVENTIn addition to serving breakfast, we'll have crafts and a special story time for the children. St. Nicholas himself will be on hand to tell the story of how he came to be a saint. A photo of each child with St. Nick is included in the cost of the event. Finally, in the spirit of St. Nicholas’ devotion to the poor, we will be accepting donations of food or household items to give to those in need. Para honrar a este santo patrón de los niños, nuestra Familia del Santo Rosario se reúne tradicionalmente para celebrar también la festividad de San Nicolás. SOBRE NUESTRO EVENTOAdemás de servir el desayuno téndremos manualidades y una hora especial de cuentos para los niños. El mismo San Nicolás estará disponible para contar la historia de cómo llegó a ser santo y una foto de cada niño con San Nicolás está incluida en el costo del evento. Finalmente, en el espíritu de la devoción de San Nicolás a los pobres, aceptaremos donaciones de alimentos o artículos para el hogar para dar a los necesitados.
