Thursday Morning Study Group

TITLE: Acts – The Good News of the Holy Spirit
WHEN/WHERE: Thursdays - October 31 – December 12  – 10:45am-12:15pm in the Parish Hall
COST: $13.00 for study materials
In Acts, we meet St. Paul and travel with him on his missionary journeys. We also discover that the greatest acts of the apostles are actually a result of the work of the Holy Spirit.

Saturday Morning Study Group

TITLE: The Psalms—School of Prayer 
WHEN/WHERE: Saturdays - September 14 - November 23 – 8:00-10:00am in the Parish Hall
COST: $29.00 (additional $7.00 for individual streaming access)
Come, know & discover how these sacred hymns become our heartfelt response to God’s loving and wondrous deeds for us. Learn how to establish a deeply personal dialogue with God through the Psalms.

Monday Evening Study Group

TITLE: The Chosen Watch Party & Discussion   
WHEN/WHERE: Mondays, September 23 - November 18 – 6:30-8:00pm in the Parish Hall
Join us whether you’ve watched all the episodes or this will be your first. Deacon Mike Seibert will lead us through Season 2 of The Chosen and give us clues and questions to help us dive deeper into the story.

Lent with Friends

LENT WITH FRIENDS 

Dive deeper into your relationship with Jesus with the friends who will keep you accountable. Choose a book, Lenten practice, Bible Study or regular service opportunity and commit to working, praying and studying with a small group of 5-8 friends.

WHEN: This program runs the whole season of Lent - from Ash Wednesday (Feb. 14) until midday Holy Thursday (Mar. 28). Friend groups choose their time and space to meet.

WHERE: That is up to you & your group.

OTHER TIPS

• How and when you gather is completely up to the group. Groups can meet in-person or virtually. 
• The makeup of your group is up to you, as well. Single women, moms, dads, men, couples, young adults, empty nesters, older adults, youth, coworkers … the list is unlimited!
• The Faith Formation & Education Commission has a list of suggested Study Ideas/ Reading List. Read anything from the list or decide on something altogether different. That is up to you, too.
• Aren’t sure which friends to ask or maybe want to make new friends? Contact Carol Ann if you need some ideas: email or 812-477-8923 x 225
• Meet in each other’s homes, a restaurant, a park, and maybe even somewhere on the Holy Rosary Campus. To use a spot on campus, contact the Parish Office to check the calendar and reserve a space if available.
