Dear Friends,
In a past homily, I suggested a simple process for living in the Spirit (Click to watch the 7/9/23 Mass). The second component of this process was a challenge to grow in knowledge of Sacred Scripture and the teachings of the Church. Over the past few years, tens of thousands of people around the world have made tremendous progress in a deepening understanding of Sacred Scripture and Church teaching thanks to two programs offered by Fr. Mike Schmitz. He has two highly regarded online learning guides that seekers have been faithfully exploring: The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to check out these programs.
