Faith Day - Feb. 24, 2018

Fr. Alex to return for Faith Day Feb. 24

Fr. Alex Zenthoefer is among the most popular associate pastors Holy Rosary is blessed to have had in its history. His homilies received wide acclaim, and his wit was enjoyed and appreciated. Parishioners will have an opportunity to hear him again at Holy Rosary’s Faith Day on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Fr. Alex served more than four years as associate pastor at Holy Rosary before being named pastor of Christ the King Parish in 2012 and later also Holy Spirit and, still later, the merged Annunciation Parish. He has been a regular speaker for Holy Rosary’s Faith Day.

In his remarks, Fr. Alex will help us broaden our perspective on how we engage in works of charity. The topic is related to the Faith Day theme of Love of God, Love of Neighbor, Love of Self.

Faith Day this year will be a half-day program featuring seven speakers. Others are Srs. Denise Wilkinson, Kathryn Huber and Ann Sullivan; Deacon Jay VanHoosier; Dr. Jim Schroeder; and Rich Klein. In her keynote address, Sr. Denise will pose the intriguing question, What Must We Do to Become Saints?
