Spiritual Life and Worship Commission

This Commission's mission is to provide the Holy Rosary parish family a Christ-centered environment and leadership in praising God and celebrating the Liturgy through active participation in prayers, songs, Scriptures, the Eucharist, and all other actions that will allow members to develop their Christian formation. The Spiritual Life and Worship Commission is made up of different ministries that serve the Holy Rosary parish community in different capacities. Some of its services include, but are not limited to:

Liturgical Ministry
This ministry coordinates all the services necessary for the successful celebration of the Liturgy at Holy Rosary.
This ministry oversees the functions of:

  • Eucharist Ministers
  • Lectors
  • Children’s liturgy of the Word
  • Greeters
  • Ushers
  • Sacristans
  • Altar Servers
  • Musicians: Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, Cantors, Instrumentalists
  • Church Decoration
  • Sunday Mass Transportation
  • Parish Mission


Prayer/Devotions

  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Prayer chain
  • Rosary prayer groups
  • Daily prayer


Ministry to Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Shut Ins

  • Communion services (in absence of weekday Mass) at nursing homes
  • Distribute Communion to nursing homes and shut-ins
  • Visit the sick, hospitals, nursing homes and shut-ins
